What is AEO, and how is it different from SEO?
SEO is about ranking in a list of links. AEO is about being the source an AI cites when it answers a patient directly. The mechanics differ: AI systems pull from content that's specific, well-structured, and demonstrably expert, and they cite far fewer sources than a search results page shows. A practice can rank on page one of Google and still be invisible in ChatGPT.
Will I need a separate SEO agency?
No. Welliver handles both AEO & SEO. While there are some differences, many of the elements that help you do well on AEO also help you do well on SEO.
What makes Welliver different from other agencies?

Will Google or AI models penalize us for AI-assisted content?
Search and answer engines penalize thin, generic, unoriginal content; not the tool used to produce it. That's not us saying it, Google said so themselves:

Why can’t we just use ChatGPT ourselves?
You can, but keep a few things in mind before you do. ChatGPT's output sounds generic, and unless someone on your team spends dozens of hours editing per page, it won't perform. It also doesn't know what your surgeon actually said on camera. Welliver produces content that sounds like you and is structured to get cited. If you are confident you can produce unique, high-quality content that sounds like your surgeons using ChatGPT on your own, you definitely can.
How long until we see results?
We hate this response, but it is an honest one: it depends. We’ve seen companies start seeing increase in traffic within 30 days, and others take 4 months.
